**Storyline:**
*Dhat Teri Ki* is a Bangladeshi romantic comedy film directed by Shamim Ahamed Roni and produced by Abdul Aziz under Jaaz Multimedia. The movie stars Arifin Shuvoo, Nusrat Faria, Ziaul Roshan, and Farin Khan in lead roles. It is a remake of the 2012 Punjabi film *Carry On Jatta*, which itself was loosely based on the 1989 Malayalam movie *Chakkikotha Chankaran*. Farin Khan made her debut with this film.
Produced and distributed by Jaaz Multimedia, the film was shot in February 2017, with locations including Bangkok. It was released nationwide in Bangladesh on 14 April 2017, coinciding with Bengali New Year celebrations. Later, in November 2017, plans were announced for its release in India through a collaboration with SVF Entertainment.
The story follows a woman who unexpectedly finds herself in a situation she never intended to enter. The film features some of the most renowned actors from the Bengali entertainment industry, including Soham Chakraborty, who has appeared in over 100 Bengali films in various roles. Soham is also known as an actor, politician, producer, and TV personality.
The film also stars Srabanti Chatterjee, one of the most beloved faces in Bengali cinema, who has appeared in more than 40 films. Srabanti, a brand ambassador for Prega News, recently joined the BJP.
