Description: Madhukar “Madhu” Bhagla, a young college student from a middle-class family, wins a competitive eating contest and receives his prize from Parthavi Singh Rathore, a wealthy girl from a political family who attends the same college. Madhu’s friend Purshottam later sees Parthavi bathing in a lake and informs Madhu. Madhu manages to impress Parthavi but sustains a minor injury in the process. Over time, the two develop feelings for each other.
Madhu returns to his family’s restaurant, where his father warns him to stay away from Parthavi due to her powerful, upper-caste family. Although Madhu initially avoids her at college, Parthavi confronts him about his behavior. They confess their love for each other and start meeting in secret. When Madhu asks for a kiss, Parthavi dares him to attend her brother Roop’s birthday party. At the party, they share a kiss but are caught by Parthavi’s father, Ratan Singh Rathore. Roop and Ratan assault Madhu and his friends, but Inspector Shekhawat intervenes, advising them to wait until after the election results to take further action.
After the elections, Ratan, who wins, presses charges against Madhu and his friends, leading to their arrest. Parthavi pleads with her father to release them. In a heated argument, she grabs a gun and threatens to shoot herself if Madhu is not freed. Madhu rushes to her, and the two escape together. Pursued by the police, they board a train to Mumbai, where Madhu contacts his maternal uncle. They eventually head to Nagpur, where Madhu’s uncle suggests they go to Kolkata for safety.
In Kolkata, they rent a small room and start their new life. Madhu begins working at a roadside restaurant after learning Bengali, while Parthavi finds a job at a call center. Together, they navigate their challenges while trying to build a life away from their troubled past.
