Description: Rejected from a police college, Qin Feng travels to Bangkok for a vacation, hoping to spend time with his “uncle” Tang Ren, known as the top detective in Bangkok’s Chinatown. However, Tang Ren turns out to be a shady con artist working under an inept police sergeant, Kon Tai. Meanwhile, a major gold robbery occurs, and the prime suspect, Sompat, is murdered, leaving the stolen gold missing. The gold belongs to a powerful local gangster, Mr. Yan, making the case a high priority for the police department. Kon Tai and his ambitious rival, Huang Landeng, compete to solve the case and recover the gold, with the promise of being promoted to deputy chief.
Qin and Tang find themselves in trouble when Tang becomes the main suspect in Sompat’s murder. Qin, a crime-solving prodigy due to his love for mystery novels, teams up with Tang to clear his name. Hunted by the police and Sompat’s associates, the duo manages to escape and hide at Tang’s landlady’s home, only to be confronted by both the robbers and Kon Tai in a chaotic encounter.
Later, Qin discovers that Tang was set up: on the night of the murder, Tang was asked to deliver a Buddha statue from Sompat’s workshop. Deciding to stay in Thailand and risk their lives, Qin and Tang head to a parking lot to uncover the truth.
