Description: The movie *Desi Boyz* (2011) tells the story of two close friends and roommates, Jignesh “Jerry” Patel, a Gujarati rebel, and Nikhil “Nick” Mathur, a simple and honest man, living in London. Jerry works odd jobs as he is still an undergraduate, while Nick holds a stable, white-collar job. However, both lose their jobs due to an economic crisis.
Jerry is also responsible for his young nephew, Veer, whose parents are no longer alive. Struggling financially, Jerry finds it difficult to pay Veer’s school fees, putting the child’s custody at risk of being transferred to a foster family. Meanwhile, Nick fears he won’t be able to fulfill the dreams of his girlfriend, Radhika Awasthi, who envisions a perfect wedding, honeymoon, and a beautiful home.
In desperation, Jerry and Nick turn to an unconventional profession—they become escorts for a company owned by a man named Mr. Khalnayak. Their lives take a dramatic turn when their secret is exposed. Jerry fails to prevent Veer from being sent to a foster home, and Nick loses Radhika after she discovers the truth about his new profession during her trip to India. Frustrated, Nick blames Jerry for pushing him into the profession and ends their friendship.
Determined to win Radhika back, Nick seeks help from an unexpected source—her father, Suresh, who has come to London with her. Meanwhile, Jerry re-enrolls in college to complete his degree, hoping to earn enough to regain custody of Veer. At college, Jerry confronts his economics professor for unfairly expelling him, only to discover she is Tanya Sharma, a former classmate who now holds a teaching position. Romantic sparks begin to fly between them.
As Nick tries to rebuild his relationship with Radhika, she starts dating a man named Ajay to provoke Nick’s jealousy. The story unfolds as both Jerry and Nick navigate their personal struggles, relationships, and the challenges of their decisions.
