**Storyline:**
Tanjiro Kamado, his sister Nezuko, and his friends Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira board the Mugen Train to assist the Flame Hashira, Kyōjurō Rengoku, in hunting a demon responsible for the disappearance of forty people. Shortly after boarding, they fall into a deep sleep under a powerful enchantment. Enmu, Lower One of the Twelve Kizuki, enlists four passengers suffering from insomnia to infiltrate the Demon Slayers’ dreams and destroy their spiritual cores, ensuring they never wake up. In return, Enmu promises them peaceful sleep.
While asleep, each character experiences blissful dreams: Tanjiro reunites with his deceased family, Kyōjurō reflects on his past with his brother and father, Zenitsu envisions a quiet life with Nezuko, and Inosuke imagines himself as a heroic adventurer. A girl tasked with destroying Kyōjurō’s spiritual core locates it, but his indomitable spirit prevents her, even in his unconscious state.
Tanjiro eventually realizes he is dreaming and, after a vision of his father instructing him to end his dream, tearfully abandons his family to wake up. Meanwhile, Nezuko uses her Blood Demon Art to sever the intruders’ connection to the slayers, awakening the passengers. Fearful of Enmu, the passengers attack Tanjiro, who subdues them all except for one intruder, overcome with guilt after discovering Tanjiro’s pure heart.
As Nezuko wakes the others, Tanjiro confronts Enmu atop the train. Enmu is thrilled to learn Tanjiro is the “man with the Hanafuda earrings,” whom his master, Muzan Kibutsuji, wants dead. In the ensuing battle, Tanjiro beheads Enmu, only to discover that Enmu has fused with the train, intending to devour all its passengers.
