**Storyline:**
“Delhi Safari” narrates the journey of a leopard cub, his mother, a monkey, a bear, and a parrot as they fight to save their forest from destruction. When builders threaten their habitat, the animals resolve to travel to Delhi and protest in front of the parliament. They raise crucial questions: Why has humanity become the most dangerous species? Don’t humans realize that the survival of forests and animals is essential for maintaining the ecosystem’s balance?
The story begins with Yuvraj, nicknamed Yuvi, grieving the loss of his father, Sultan. Determined to protect their home, Yuvi recalls a flashback of Sultan teaching him self-defense while his mother, Begum, watches over them. Despite their playful teasing of Begum for her overprotectiveness, the family shares a loving bond. Tragedy strikes when bulldozers invade their forest. Sultan sacrifices himself to save Yuvi, leaving the animals in despair and fueling their hatred for humans.
During a gathering of the forest’s inhabitants, the animals debate their next steps. Bajrangi, the monkey, suggests using his “vanarsena” to confront the humans, but Bagga, the bear, advises peaceful communication. When they realize they need someone who understands human language, a white bird named Hawa Hawaai offers a solution.
