The film raises questions about the writer’s identity, the significance of the “deja vu” moments, and the secrets uncovered during the investigation. While the premise starts intriguingly, the plot loses momentum as it progresses, leaving viewers questioning its logical inconsistencies. Director Arvindh Srinivasan’s *Deja Vu* has a compelling core idea but falters in delivering a cohesive and sensible screenplay. By the end, the film leaves the audience feeling that the characters faced no real challenges, making the storyline feel implausible and dismissive of viewers’ expectations.
Despite its flaws, *Deja Vu* remains an attempt to explore an unconventional narrative within the crime thriller genre.
