Description: “Dancing on Glass” tells the story of Irene, who steps into a leading role after the tragic suicide of the star dancer in the Spanish National Dance Company. She is chosen to perform in the company’s major ballet production, “Giselle.” However, Irene becomes the target of jealousy and cruelty from her peers. She finds solace in Aurora, a lonely dancer dominated by her mother. Both isolated and driven by the intense pressures of the ballet world, their bond grows increasingly obsessive. Eventually, they escape together in search of self-discovery and freedom from societal expectations.
