**Storyline:**
The story begins with a heroic act by the beloved yet corrupt cop, ASP Chulbul Pandey, who stops a robbery at a wedding and severely beats the goons and their leader, Gullu. After this incident, Gullu agrees to return to his part-time job as a wedding band trumpeter. Chulbul is shown managing his daily life with his wife Rajjo, his brother Makhanchand “Makkhi” Pandey (also a police officer), and his son, while his father Prajapati Pandey stays at home with Rajjo. Makkhi appears to be living a lavish lifestyle.
One day, a distressed and injured girl arrives at Makkhi’s police station seeking help after escaping from captors who tried to sell her and other girls into prostitution. Chulbul joins Makkhi in the investigation, leading to the arrest of Chinti Walia, who runs the prostitution racket.
While interrogating Chinti at the police station, Chulbul confronts a lawyer and goons attempting to release her. He tears up the court order and smiles into a video call being made by the goons’ leader. The leader later shows this call to Bali Singh, who is shocked to see Chulbul and begins reminiscing about their shared past.
Years earlier, Chulbul, whose real name is Dhaakad Chand Pandey, fell in love with a girl named Khushi. Initially considered a potential bride for Makkhi, Chulbul convinced his family that he was a better match for her. After some time, Khushi’s family agreed, and the two began their romantic journey.
