Description: Chandrakant ‘Chandu’ Nagre becomes part of the Mumbai underworld, quickly mastering the trade and boosting the gang’s earnings. This success earns him the trust of Malik, the gang’s leader. Together, they eliminate rivals, including Saeed and his brother Anis. Malik launches a brutal campaign to dominate the underworld, even ordering the death of Inspector Rathod, who had previously mistreated Chandu in jail. Amidst their partnership, a disagreement arises during a contract killing. Chandu prevents a staged car crash, regaining Malik’s favor.
The contract was orchestrated by a politician aiming to eliminate a strong contender for the Home Minister position. Despite Chandu’s objections, Malik proceeds with the plan, deepening their rift. Mumbai’s Police Commissioner, Veerappalli Sreenivasan, exploits this division to weaken the mafia. Chandu and Malik turn into sworn enemies, leading to an all-out gang war. Chandu avenges the death of his close friend Warsi, escalating the conflict. The war results in numerous casualties, making it easier for the police to target both leaders.
The battle extends to Kenya, where Malik nearly succeeds in killing Chandu. Severely injured, Chandu survives and is convinced by Sreenivasan to return to Mumbai to aid in dismantling the mafia. Chandu eliminates the politician responsible for the contract killing while in prison. Although Chandu and Malik reach a temporary truce, Chandu secretly orders his associate, Koda Singh, to kill Malik, ensuring their feud remains unresolved.
