The story revolves around Ismat, also known as Durga, an undercover RAW agent played by Parineeti Chopra. Her ultimate goal is to eliminate Khalid Omar, played by Sharad Kelkar, who is responsible for the 2002 attack on the Indian Parliament. As the plot unfolds, Ismat is faced with a critical decision: choosing between her love for Mirza and her duty to her country.
The film’s pre-production began in December 2020, with Parineeti Chopra announced as the lead, marking her second collaboration with director Ribhu Dasgupta after *The Girl on the Train*. Shooting commenced in April 2021 in Turkey, where a significant portion of the film was captured. While the concept is intriguing, the execution struggles with unnecessary additions to the storyline.”
