Description: Dr. Roy Jamnadas, researching the nature versus nurture theory, separates two sets of identical twins left at the doorstep of his orphanage. He gives each pair to different families in Ooty and Bangalore, naming both boys Roy and Joy. The first set grows up in Ooty, where their father runs a circus. After his death, Roy 1 and Joy 1 take over the circus. Roy 1 possesses a unique immunity to electric shocks, which he uses in his circus act, earning the nickname “Electric Man.” Meanwhile, Roy 2, raised in a wealthy family in Bangalore, experiences electric shocks whenever Roy 1 is exposed to electricity.
Roy 1’s wife, Mala, wishes to adopt a child from the orphanage, but Roy 1 opposes the idea. Roy 2 falls in love with Bindu, but her father, Rai Bahadur, doubts his character after mistaking Roy 1 for Roy 2 in Ooty, accusing him of infidelity. When Roy 2 and Joy 2 visit Ooty to buy a tea estate, confusion ensues as people mistake them for their Ooty counterparts.
Adding to the chaos, three robbers—Momo, Mango, and Chikki—target the twins for their money. Roy 2 shocks them with electricity, prompting their boss, Polson Bhai, to seek revenge. Meanwhile, Roy 1 plans to gift Mala a diamond necklace, but the jeweler mistakenly hands it to Roy 2. This mix-up further convinces Bindu’s father that Roy 2 is married to Mala, leading Bindu to threaten ending their relationship, unaware that Mala is actually Roy 1’s wife.
