Description: Professor Parimal Tripathi, a botany teacher, falls in love with Sulekha Chaturvedi during a college excursion. To help a bungalow watchman visit his ill grandson, Parimal takes on the watchman’s role, unknowingly charming Sulekha, who later discovers his true identity. The two eventually marry.
Parimal enjoys playing pranks, contrasting with typical professors. Sulekha idolizes her brother-in-law, Raghavendra, considering him highly intellectual. Feeling overshadowed, Parimal decides to prove himself. When Raghavendra requests a Hindi-speaking driver, Parimal seizes the opportunity to interact with him. He disguises himself as Pyare Mohan Ilahabadi, a talkative driver who pretends to dislike English.
A series of comedic events unfold as Parimal and Sulekha trick Raghavendra. They first pretend Sulekha is unhappy in her marriage, then suggest she’s having an affair with Pyare. To add to the chaos, Parimal’s friend, Sukumar Sinha, acts as Parimal, portraying him as a dull lecturer. Pyare’s exaggerated Hindi and insistence on learning English from Raghavendra lead to hilarious misunderstandings and endless frustration for Raghavendra.
