Despite the language barrier, Alex gradually immerses himself in Mexican culture, experiencing local cuisine, fireworks, and even learning luchador techniques reminiscent of his father’s past. These moments are tender and heartwarming, adding emotional depth to the narrative. Chupa’s charm, combined with these cultural explorations, makes for a touching yet formulaic family film.
