Description: Child of Kamiari Month is a 2021 Japanese animated film produced by Liden Films and directed by Takana Shirai. Titled “Kamiarizuki no Kodomo” in Japanese, the movie premiered in theaters on October 8, 2021. The project was initially revealed and funded through a series of crowdfunding campaigns by Cretica Universal, which took place from March 27, 2019, to June 1, 2020. In May 2020, it was announced that the release would be delayed until 2021. The film was animated by Liden Films, with Takana Shirai as the director. The script was written by Tetsurō Takita, Ryūta Miyake, and Toshinari Shinoe, while Kazuya Sakamoto served as the creative director. The main theme song, “Kanna,” was performed by Miwa. A preview of the movie was showcased at Anime Expo Lite 2021. Netflix secured the international distribution rights and began streaming the film on February 8, 2022.
