Description: Chief Daddy 2: Going for Broke is a 2021 Nigerian film released on Netflix, focusing on the chaotic life of Chief ‘Daddy’ Beecroft, a prominent industrialist with a complicated family dynamic. The sequel introduces Leila, Chief Daddy’s previously unknown daughter, who feels neglected and seeks revenge. She takes control of Chief Daddy’s company, causing turmoil and fracturing the family once again. Meanwhile, Dammy and Adaora’s relationship suffers due to misunderstandings. Adaora grows frustrated with Dammy’s obsession with his celebrity lifestyle and becomes heartbroken upon hearing rumors of his infidelity with a high-profile artist, Nina. She ends their engagement, but her mother, Madam Pat, insists that Dammy still loves her.
The film explores themes of family, betrayal, and reconciliation, portraying the challenges of maintaining unity in the face of greed and personal vendettas.
