Description: In the animated film *Chicken Run* (2000), a group of chickens lives on an egg farm managed by the Tweedys. Despite frequent attempts to escape, the chickens are always captured. Frustrated by the farm’s dwindling profits, Mrs. Tweedy devises a plan to automate production and create a pie machine, turning the chickens into meat pies. Mr. Tweedy suspects the chickens are plotting something, but Mrs. Tweedy disregards his concerns.
One day, Ginger, the chickens’ leader, encounters a rooster named Rocky Rhodes, who crash-lands on the farm. The chickens help treat his injured wing and hide him from the Tweedys. Ginger, inspired by Rocky’s apparent ability to fly, convinces him to teach the chickens how to fly. Rocky begins training them as Mr. Tweedy works on building the pie machine. Later, Rocky throws a party to celebrate his recovery, but the Tweedys complete the pie machine and test it on Ginger. Rocky rescues her, accidentally damaging the machine, which buys the chickens some time to warn the others and prepare for their escape.
The next day, Ginger discovers that Rocky has left. She finds a poster revealing that he was a stunt rooster fired from a cannon and unable to fly, which leaves the group disheartened. Fowler, an elderly rooster, attempts to lift their spirits by sharing stories from his time as a mascot in the Royal Air Force. This inspires Ginger to build an airplane to escape the farm.
With the assistance of two resourceful rats, Nick and Fetcher, the chickens gather materials to construct the plane while Mr. Tweedy repairs the pie machine. When Mrs. Tweedy orders her husband to round up the chickens, they attack and bind him, allowing them to complete the plane and make their daring escape.
