Storyline:
After saving U.S. Marshal Ray Carter in Mongolia, the Angels—Natalie Cook, Dylan Sanders, and Alex Munday—alongside Jimmy Bosley, John Bosley’s adoptive brother, are tasked with retrieving stolen titanium rings from the U.S. Department of Justice. These rings contain sensitive information about individuals in the witness protection program. Among the victims are DOJ official William Rose Bailey and a protected witness, Alan Caulfield.
Following a trail to Caulfield’s home in San Bernardino, the Angels identify his assassin, Randy Emmers, and track him to a beach, where they encounter former Angel Madison Lee. During the Coal Bowl motorcycle race, Emmers targets another witness, Max Petroni, but is killed by the mysterious Thin Man, who was protecting Max. Inside Emmers’ pocket, the Angels discover photos of Caulfield, Max, and surprisingly, Dylan—under her birth name, Helen Zaas.
Dylan confesses that she is a protected witness, having previously sent her ex-boyfriend, Irish mob leader Seamus O’Grady, to prison. O’Grady has since sought revenge on those who wronged him, including Dylan and Max, whose parents he killed. Max is relocated to Bosley’s mother’s home for safety.
At a monastery, the Angels learn about the Thin Man’s past from the Mother Superior, who reveals his real name, Anthony. Later, they track O’Grady’s mob to San Pedro and recover the rings, but O’Grady threatens Dylan, vowing to harm everyone she loves.
Meanwhile, Natalie attends her boyfriend Pete Kominsky’s high school reunion in Hermosa Beach, where she overhears his friends hinting at a potential proposal. Feeling overwhelmed by the pace of their relationship, Natalie hesitates. Alex returns home, while Dylan leaves the Angels and heads to Mexico.
When Natalie, Bosley, and Alex find Dylan’s farewell letter, they realize she fled to protect them. Natalie contacts Charlie to inquire how O’Grady was released from prison, and Charlie explains it was due to good behavior. While in hiding in Mexico, Dylan is inspired to return after encountering a vision of former Angel Kelly Garrett.
