Description: In 1996, Calvin “The Golden Jet” Joyner, a star athlete, is honored at his high school. During his speech, a group of bullies led by Trevor Olson humiliates Robbie Weirdicht, a morbidly obese nerd, by throwing him naked into the gymnasium. While the crowd laughs, Joyner and his girlfriend Maggie Johnson show compassion, with Calvin even covering Robbie with his varsity jacket. Robbie thanks Calvin and flees in embarrassment.
Fast forward to 2016, Calvin is now a forensic accountant, married to Maggie, but unhappy with his life. Maggie suggests therapy to save their struggling marriage. At work, Calvin receives a Facebook friend request from Bob Stone, who invites him to meet at a bar. Bob reveals himself as Robbie Weirdicht, now a confident, muscular, and skilled individual. Bob asks Calvin to review online transactions, which leads to the discovery of a multimillion-dollar auction involving radical countries. Bob avoids Calvin’s questions and stays overnight at his house.
The next day, CIA agents led by Pamela Harris arrive searching for Bob, accusing him of being a dangerous rogue agent who killed his former partner, Phil Stanton. Harris claims Bob plans to sell satellite codes to the highest bidder. Shortly after, Bob abducts Calvin, explaining he is trying to stop a criminal known as the Black Badger from selling the codes, and needs Calvin’s expertise to locate the meeting place. After an attack by a bounty hunter, Calvin escapes, calls Maggie, and arranges to meet her at their marriage counselor’s office. Harris intercepts Calvin, warning him that Bob is actually the Black Badger. She gives him a tracking device and advises him to keep Maggie in the dark. When Calvin arrives at the counseling session, he finds Bob posing as the counselor.
