Description: Enid, a video censor working during the era of controversial “video nasty” films, gains media attention after one of her approved videos is linked to a serial killer known as “The Amnesia Killer,” who claims to have no memory of the murders. This incident draws the interest of a shady film producer named Doug, who asks her to review a horror film titled *Don’t Go in the Church* by Frederick North. The film deeply unsettles Enid, especially the eerie character “Beastman,” and it reminds her of her sister Nina, who disappeared when Enid was just seven years old.
Driven by obsession, Enid rents another of North’s banned films, *Asunder*, and is shocked to see the actress Alice Lee, whom she believes is her long-lost sister. Enid shares her theory with her parents, but they dismiss it, insisting that Nina is dead and urging Enid to move on.
As Enid’s grip on reality weakens, she experiences surreal and disturbing dreams involving Alice, Beastman, and the church from *Don’t Go in the Church*. Determined to uncover the truth, Enid tracks down Doug and visits his home. Doug reveals that North is filming a sequel to *Church*, starring Alice Lee, and that it will be her final film. During their encounter, Doug attempts to assault Enid, but in the struggle, he accidentally impales himself on one of his awards.
Enid, now on the brink of madness, discovers the filming location for *Church 2* and arrives at the set. Mistaken for an actress, she confronts North and questions him about Alice Lee and the film’s inspiration. North dismisses her inquiries, explaining that the story is based on true events, and forces Enid to perform in the movie. Lost in a hallucinatory state, Enid kills Beastman to save Alice, only snapping back to reality when the horrified crew reacts to her actions.
