Jennifer Tree, a successful fashion model, becomes the target of a stalker while out alone one evening. She is drugged and wakes up in a confined cell filled with her personal belongings. Jennifer is forced to watch recordings of previous victims who suffered torture in the same cell, along with clips from her own interviews. Desperate, she screams and pleads for freedom, but no one responds.
As Jennifer endures relentless psychological torment, she discovers a young man named Gary held captive in a neighboring cell. The two connect and devise a plan to escape. They reach a garage with a vehicle but are incapacitated by sleeping gas. Jennifer later awakens in her cell and witnesses a video of Gary being threatened. Shortly after, Gary is thrown into her cell. She rushes to assist him, and the two eventually engage in a sexual encounter.
After drinking drugged water and falling asleep, Jennifer wakes to find Gary gone. It is revealed that Gary and his older brother, Ben, are holding her captive in their home. Jennifer is the latest in a series of women they have abducted to re-enact the tortures inflicted on them during their childhood by their mother. Gary confesses to Ben that he is falling in love with Jennifer and then stabs his brother. He watches recordings of himself murdering their mother.
Gary is interrupted by two detectives searching for Ben. Despite his claims that Ben is not home, the detectives enter and accidentally discover the surveillance footage of Jennifer. Gary shoots them both. He returns to Jennifer’s cell, lies about killing the perpetrators, and tells her they can leave. Gary then places Jennifer in another room, instructing her to stay there.
