The film marks the reunion of director Wajed Ali Sumon and Shakib Khan after a long hiatus. Shakib portrays the titular character, a notorious gangster who lives a reclusive life, rarely seen in public. The reasons behind his disappearance remain a central theme of the story. The cast also includes Amit Hasan, Barda Mithu, Don, and Shiba Shanu, among others.
“Captain Khan” is an unofficial remake of the 2014 Kollywood film “Anjaan.” During its initial release, the movie performed well at the box office, outperforming other films like “Mone Rekho,” “Beporoya,” and “Zannat.”
