The team is assigned to investigate Sector-42, a mysterious forest area that once housed a mineral factory during the East India Company’s rule. Over the past 50 years, the region has been plagued by strange occurrences, and no one dares to venture there. Previous teams sent to investigate never returned. During their mission, Vetri and his team encounter an unknown creature that renders them unconscious.
Upon waking up, Vetri discovers Karthi attempting to shoot himself. Despite Vetri’s intervention, Karthi shoots him in the shoulder before dying tragically. Vetri refuses to blame Karthi for the failed mission and shoulders the responsibility himself. This decision tarnishes his reputation, and Karthi is labeled a traitor, denied a military funeral, causing Vetri deep anguish. Consequently, Vetri is demoted to a training officer.
Simultaneously, Dr. Keerthi, a scientist working on the Minotaur project for the defense ministry, studies the creature lurking in Sector-42. The Minotaur is a deadly, cold-blooded entity that attacks by spitting venom, leaving victims unconscious or driving them into madness. These creatures communicate using bio radio signals facilitated by spiders.
Keerthi teams up with Vikram, a wealthy benefactor, to establish a lab near Sector-42 to analyze the Minotaurs and their threat. Despite reservations from General Bala, who harbors resentment toward Vetri, Keerthi selects Vetri and his team for the mission due to their firsthand experience in Sector-42.
The film delves into suspense, bravery, and the struggle against an unimaginable threat as Vetri and his team face their most dangerous challenge yet.
