Description: In New Orleans, hitman Jimmy Bobo and his partner Louis Blanchard assassinate a corrupt former MPDC officer, Hank Greely. However, Bobo spares a prostitute named Lola. Later, at a bar, Blanchard is killed by another hitman, Keegan, who also tries to eliminate Bobo but fails.
Detective Taylor Kwon from Washington, D.C., arrives in New Orleans to investigate his former partner’s death. He meets Lieutenant Lebreton, who informs him that Lola confirmed Greely’s assassination. At the morgue, Kwon identifies Blanchard and deduces that he and Bobo were responsible for Greely’s murder.
Meanwhile, Keegan meets his employer, Robert Morel, and Morel’s lawyer Marcus Baptiste. Baptiste reveals that Greely had attempted to blackmail Morel and provided a file detailing Morel’s illegal activities to local mobster Baby Jack. Keegan later kills Baby Jack and his men, retrieving the file.
Kwon confronts Bobo in a bar, revealing that he knows about Bobo’s involvement in Greely’s murder. When Kwon attempts to follow Bobo, he is attacked by corrupt cops sent by Morel to stop his investigation. Kwon manages to kill one assailant but is wounded by the other. Bobo rescues Kwon by running over the remaining cop and takes him to a tattoo parlor, where Bobo’s estranged daughter, Lisa, treats Kwon’s injuries.
Bobo and Kwon visit a massage parlor to interrogate Ronnie Earl, the middleman who hired Bobo and Blanchard on Morel’s behalf. Ronnie Earl tries to kill Bobo but is killed instead, though Bobo’s gun jams. Bobo later confronts Kwon, who admits to tampering with the gun, nearly causing Bobo’s death. Despite this, the two agree to collaborate.
Bobo and Kwon kidnap Baptiste and force him to hand over a flash drive containing details of Morel’s plan to acquire housing projects, demolish them, and build office buildings. Baptiste also reveals Keegan’s role as Morel’s enforcer. After obtaining the information, Bobo executes Baptiste.
