Description: Brochevarevaru Ra (2019) is a Telugu film that follows the journey of Vishal, an aspiring director, as he embarks on his debut project. Determined to cast a leading actress, Vishal approaches Shalini, a well-known star, despite his limited budget and inexperienced crew. Unable to secure direct contact with big stars, he sends Shalini a short film based on his script via email. Impressed by his work, she agrees to meet him to discuss the story further. Their meeting takes place in a restaurant, where Vishal narrates his vision.
The story then shifts to a high school where Principal Radha Krishna brings his daughter, Mitra, to study. There, she encounters Rahul, Rambabu (nicknamed “Rambo”), and Rakesh (nicknamed “Rocky”), collectively known as the “R3” group. These students are notorious for their poor academic performance and tendency to sit in the back of the class. When they attempt to steal their answer sheets, they are thwarted by Mitra, who is sitting near the staff room. Rakesh fabricates a story about his ailing grandmother, but their plan backfires when their actions are discovered the next day, leading to embarrassment in class.
Mitra shares similarities with the R3 group, as she has little interest in academics and dreams of becoming a classical dancer. Her parents divorced when she was young, and after her mother’s passing, she had no choice but to live with her father. Drawn to the R3 group’s carefree nature, she begins to spend time with them. Concerned about her poor grades, her father enrolls her in a math tuition class run by his closest friend.
The film explores themes of ambition, friendship, and the pursuit of dreams against all odds.
