Description: Jason Momoa stars as Joe Braven, a devoted family man and owner of a logging company, in the 2018 film *Braven*. He lives with his wife, Stephanie, and their young daughter, Charlotte. Joe’s father, Linden, suffers from brain trauma due to a past head injury. When Linden mistakenly identifies a stranger as his wife and gets into a bar fight, Joe steps in to help, leading to Linden’s hospitalization. At Stephanie’s suggestion, Joe and Linden decide to spend some quality time together at their remote mountain cabin. Unbeknownst to them, Charlotte sneaks into the vehicle to join the trip.
Meanwhile, Joe’s co-worker, Weston, is approached by a drug trafficker named Hallett, who tries to recruit him for criminal activities. Weston refuses, but during their interaction, he loses control of his truck, causing a crash that spills logs and cocaine. To hide the drugs, Weston and Hallett plan to use Joe’s cabin. However, they are spotted by police, and Hallett informs his boss, drug lord Kassen, about the situation.
Upon arriving at the cabin, Joe discovers the hidden cocaine in the shed. Realizing the danger, he hides Charlotte in a storage closet just as Kassen’s mercenaries arrive. When Weston attempts to mediate, Kassen kills him. With no cellular signal at the cabin, Joe and Linden must defend themselves. Armed with a bow and arrow and a gun, they manage to take down several mercenaries. To access a cell signal, Joe grabs the cocaine and flees on a quad bike, with Charlotte concealed under a blanket, determined to protect his family at all costs.
