**Storyline:**
Adèle, a reserved 15-year-old high school student, feels an instant attraction upon encountering a woman with short blue hair on the street. Though she dates and sleeps with a boy named Thomas, she finds the relationship unfulfilling and ends it. Troubled by vivid fantasies about the blue-haired woman and a kiss from a female friend, Adèle begins to question her sexual identity.
Her openly gay best friend, Valentin, recognizes her confusion and takes her to a gay dance bar. Later, Adèle visits a lesbian bar, where she experiences assertive advances from several women. The blue-haired woman, Emma, steps in and claims Adèle is her cousin. Emma, an art student nearing graduation, befriends Adèle, and they grow closer. Despite being ostracized by her school friends, Adèle develops a deep bond with Emma. Their relationship blossoms, culminating in a passionate romance.
As time passes, the couple moves in together. Adèle becomes an elementary school teacher, while Emma pursues her painting career, often hosting social gatherings with her artistic circle. Despite their love, differences emerge. Emma criticizes Adèle’s career, urging her to explore writing instead, while Adèle insists she’s content. Their emotional disconnect deepens, leading Adèle to seek comfort in a colleague, Antoine, further complicating their relationship.
