Description: Blinky Bill the Movie (2015) is an animated adventure comedy set in Greenpatch, Australia. The story follows a brave young koala named Blinky Bill, voiced by Ryan Kwanten, as he embarks on a perilous journey across the Australian outback to find his missing father, Mr. Bill, voiced by Richard Roxburgh. Greenpatch, a safe haven for animals created by Blinky’s father, faces a threat when Mayor Cranklepot, a goanna, attempts to take control. Inspired by his father’s legendary adventures, Blinky sets out on his quest, making new friends along the way, including a girl koala named Nutsy and a lizard named Jacko. Through teamwork and determination, Blinky learns that being a hero is no easy task.
The film is based on the beloved Blinky Bill character, an anthropomorphic koala originally created by Dorothy Wall in a children’s book series from 1933.
