**Plot Summary:**
A group of vampires explores an ancient tomb in the Syrian Desert, believing it to be the resting place of Dracula, the first vampire. To prevent Blade from interfering, they frame him for the murder of a human associate. FBI agents then discover Blade’s hideout, killing his mentor and friend, Abraham Whistler. Overwhelmed by grief, Blade surrenders and is arrested.
The vampires arrange for authorities to hand Blade over to them. However, he is rescued by Hannibal King and Abigail Whistler, Abraham’s daughter, who invite him to join their team of vampire hunters, known as the Nightstalkers. From them, Blade learns that Danica Talos, an old enemy of King, has revived Dracula, or “Drake,” intending to use his powers to eliminate vampire weaknesses. As the original vampire, Drake’s DNA is pure, allowing him to survive in sunlight.
The Nightstalkers have developed innovative ultraviolet ammunition called “Sun dog” and a bioweapon named Daystar, capable of annihilating vampires at the genetic level. However, they require a purer blood source to enhance its effectiveness. While they hope the virus will kill Drake and eradicate the vampire species, they also fear it might endanger Blade due to his hybrid nature.
Eager to test Blade, Drake isolates him from the Nightstalkers, considering them unworthy adversaries. He reveals his disdain for both humans and vampires, planning to eliminate them entirely. Meanwhile, Abigail uncovers evidence of the vampires’ “Final Solution”: a network of farms where comatose humans are drained of blood for vampire consumption. The vampires have resorted to kidnapping homeless individuals, aided by corrupt officials like Chief Martin Vreede, to sustain their blood supply.
