Dev Kaushal, a toilet paper sales executive, leads a monotonous and unsatisfying life both professionally and personally. He spends his spare time secretly collecting photos of other men’s wives for personal gratification. One day, he decides to surprise his wife, Reena Kaushal, by returning home early with roses. However, he discovers her in bed with another man, Ranjit “Tommy” Arora. Dev is devastated and contemplates various revenge scenarios, including killing either Tommy or Reena, but ultimately decides to blackmail Tommy instead.
Ranjit, a henpecked husband married to Dolly Verma, fears her influential father. Dev, who shares a good relationship with his boss, DK, is tasked with promoting a new line of toilet rolls. After calculating his financial needs, Dev demands 1 lakh rupees from Ranjit as blackmail. Ranjit lies to Dolly, claiming he needs the money to start a business, and manages to arrange the funds. When Dolly’s father pressures Ranjit to return the money, Ranjit turns around and blackmails Reena for 120,000 rupees.
In a drunken state, Dev reveals his plans to his colleague, Anand. Reena, meanwhile, asks Dev for money, pretending it’s for her father’s treatment. Dev gives her the money, then demands more from Ranjit. Reena hides the cash in a dustbin, which Ranjit retrieves and leaves in a trash bin, only for Dev to collect it later.
Anand, who has a crush on a new colleague, Prabha Ghatpandey, accidentally reveals Dev’s blackmail scheme during a date. Prabha then blackmails Dev for money. Dev confronts Anand but continues his cycle of demands, asking Ranjit for more money, who in turn pressures Reena, creating a chaotic chain of events.
