Description: Rikka Isurugi, a young girl living on the outskirts of Brad City, comes from a family with a ninja lineage. She is expected to follow in the footsteps of her grandfather, Hyoei Isurugi, and take over as the next family head. However, Rikka aspires to emulate her father, Allen Isurugi, a renowned robot scientist. On her birthday, Rikka returns home to find it under attack by a hit squad led by Lauren, her father’s former colleague, who seeks his research, including three AI robotic animal drones: Kasumi the eagle, Oboro the dog, and Madara the flying squirrel. Hyoei attempts to fight back but is critically wounded by Lauren’s daughter, an esper controlled by an electronic collar. Allen is shot and killed, but the drones manage to save Rikka, who vows to avenge her family’s deaths.
Six months later, Rikka adopts the alias “Lily” and lives in a small apartment with her roommate, Melissa. She works as a trainee detective for Harold Berkeley and uses the animal drones to uncover information about her family’s murderers, who are linked to the Gradsheim company. While investigating one of their facilities, Lily is caught by security but is rescued by a girl named Mia, who vouches for her. The two quickly become friends. That night, Lily sneaks into the facility to retrieve her father’s research. However, she is confronted by Lauren and Mia, who is revealed to be the esper under Lauren’s control. Upon discovering Lily’s true identity, Lauren orders Mia to kill her, but Mia resists and goes berserk, destroying the facility and allowing Lily to escape.
The animal drones prevent Lily from harming Mia, and she takes Mia to her apartment, where Melissa helps her recover. Lauren sends a military drone, built using Allen’s AI research, to kill Lily. Together, Lily and Mia manage to lure the drone to Lily’s home, where they face a final showdown.
