Description: Billy Madison is a 1995 comedy film. The story revolves around Billy Madison, a naive and immature 27-year-old heir to Madison Hotels, a Fortune 500 chain founded by his father, Brian Madison. Billy spends his time drinking and causing chaos on his father’s estate. During a crucial business dinner, Billy’s unruly behavior forces his father to lose trust in him and name Eric Gordon, the cunning vice president, as his successor.
Billy pleads for another chance, revealing he knows how ruthless Eric is. Brian discloses that he had bribed Billy’s teachers to ensure passing grades in school. They strike a deal: Billy must complete all 12 grades of school, spending two weeks in each, to prove he’s capable of managing the company.
Billy enrolls in elementary school and develops feelings for Veronica Vaughn, a third-grade teacher who initially ignores him. As he progresses through the grades, he earns Veronica’s respect by defending his classmate, Ernie. Billy becomes popular among the students but must advance through the grades, leaving them behind.
Eric grows concerned about Billy’s progress and blackmails the school principal, Max Anderson, into falsely accusing Billy of bribing him for grades. This leads Brian to cancel the deal and appoint Eric as chairman. Devastated, Billy returns to his carefree lifestyle until Veronica encourages him to continue. With the help of his former classmates, Max retracts his statement, foiling Eric’s plan.
