The story revolves around Araka (played by Cheluvaraj), who profits by manufacturing and selling drugs derived from Ayurvedic plants. He forces people to work in his cave to produce these drugs. Meanwhile, a Brahmin priest has been performing penance for years, aided by a sage.
One day, a drug seller purchases Araka’s product, tests it, and finds it effective. He returns to Araka, pays him, and requests a larger supply. However, Araka’s assistant informs him that producing such a quantity is challenging due to a labor shortage. The seller suggests kidnapping villagers to meet the demand.
During a village festival, Araka captures Anji, his sister Alamelamma, Chinminki, and other villagers. He harasses Alamelamma, prompting Anji to intervene, but Araka brutally beats him. Araka’s assistant tries to calm the situation but is beheaded by Araka. Anji attempts to resist again but is severely beaten and left for dead.
Heartbroken and desperate, Anji approaches the sage and priest, where a supernatural force intervenes. Anji sacrifices himself, and his soul is taken by the sage, setting the stage for a dramatic turn of events.
