Description: Bhagam Bhag is a 2006 Indian comedy film directed by Priyadarshan. The story revolves around Champak Chaturvedi (Paresh Rawal), who manages a theatrical troupe in India. He hires two men, Bunty (Akshay Kumar), an arts graduate, and Babla (Govinda), who is illiterate in English. Both men vie for the lead role in the play, leading to constant arguments.
Champak discovers that Bunty has misbehaved with the troupe’s heroine, Anjali (Tanushree Dutta), and disciplines him. The group secures a contract to perform 30 shows in Britain, but Anjali leaves unexpectedly on the day of departure. Hoping to find a replacement in Britain, the troupe travels without a lead actress.
Upon arrival, Babla attempts to find a new heroine, but Bunty succeeds in recruiting Munni (Lara Dutta). Meanwhile, Babla’s suitcase is switched with one containing heroin, making both men suspects in the eyes of the local police, led by Commissioner J.D. Mehra (Jackie Shroff).
As the story unfolds, Bunty and Munni fall in love. However, Munni gets into an accident and is hospitalized. When she regains consciousness, she claims to be Nisha Chauhan, married to Vikram (Arbaaz Khan) from Liverpool. Vikram arrives, takes her home, and the troupe continues their search for a new actress.
Days later, Bunty receives a desperate call from Nisha, asking him to come immediately. He, along with Champak and Babla, arrives to find her body engulfed in flames. She is declared dead at the hospital. Now in need of a new heroine for their play, the troupe is thrown into chaos when Bunty claims to have seen Nisha alive. Champak and Babla also report seeing her, leading to a series of comedic and terrifying events involving drug dealers, vengeful goons, and the police commissioner.
The film blends comedy and suspense, delivering a unique narrative filled with twists and unexpected turns.
