Description: “Basic Instinct 2” (2006) is a psychological thriller set in London. The story begins with Catherine Tramell, a famous American novelist, driving recklessly with her companion, Kevin Franks, a renowned English football player. In a shocking turn of events, Tramell engages in self-stimulation using Franks’ hand while accelerating the car. Franks, semi-conscious, remains unaware of the situation. At the moment of climax, Tramell loses control, crashing into the West India Docks by the Thames River in Canary Wharf. Despite attempting to save Franks, she later confesses to the police that her own survival took precedence over his.
During her interrogation by Detective Superintendent Roy Washburn from Scotland Yard, it is revealed that a muscle-relaxing drug, D-Tubocurarine (DTC), was found in Franks’ body and Tramell’s car.
