Description: One year after his heroic journey, Balto has built a family with Jenna, and they now have six puppies in Alaska. Five of the pups resemble their husky mother, while one named Aleu inherits her wolfdog father’s appearance. When the puppies reach eight weeks old, all but Aleu are adopted. Due to her wild looks, Aleu stays with her father. A year later, she is nearly killed by a hunter mistaking her for a wolf. Balto reveals the truth about her wolf heritage, prompting Aleu to run away in search of her identity. Balto sets out into the Alaskan wilderness to find her.
Meanwhile, Balto is troubled by mysterious dreams involving a raven and a wolf pack. Determined to uncover their meaning, he embarks on a journey, joined briefly by his friends Boris, Muk, and Luk. However, they realize this quest is meant only for Balto and Aleu. Seeking refuge in a cave, Aleu meets Muru, a field mouse who becomes her spirit guide. Muru encourages her to embrace her lineage and embark on a journey of self-discovery.
Balto and Aleu eventually reunite and reconcile, continuing their journey toward the ocean. Along the way, they encounter a starving wolf pack led by the aggressive Niju. The confrontation is resolved by Nava, the pack’s true leader, who welcomes Balto and Aleu. Nava shares that he has received visions from the wolf spirit Aniu, marking a turning point for both Balto and Aleu in their quest for understanding and belonging.
