Description: Naina Sethi is a young and successful businesswoman living in London with her family. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she is accused of murdering her secret lover, Arjun. To defend her, her lawyer, Jimmy Punjabi, hires the renowned defense attorney Badal Gupta. Over the course of an evening, they work together to uncover the truth. Badal informs Naina that a witness’s testimony could incriminate her in the crime.
Naina explains that she and Arjun were being blackmailed over their extramarital affair. They were lured to a hotel, where Naina was attacked. She woke up to find Arjun dead, with the blackmail money still in the room. Despite being out on bail, the police found no evidence of anyone else being present during the incident.
Badal confronts Naina, accusing her of withholding information, and questions her about the disappearance of a young man near the hotel. Naina reveals that while returning from a trip to a cabin several months ago, she accidentally hit an oncoming car, killing its driver, Sunny. Arjun convinced her not to report the incident, and they disposed of Sunny’s body and his car in a swamp.
Later, while waiting for Naina, Arjun was approached by a local couple, Rani and Nirmal, who turned out to be Sunny’s parents. When Rani called Sunny, his phone, which Arjun still had, rang, raising suspicions. Naina and Arjun managed to escape but grew increasingly anxious about being discovered.
Naina later discovered that Sunny had been accused of embezzling money from his workplace before his disappearance. She learned that Arjun had used Sunny’s wallet and his girlfriend’s credentials to frame him as the culprit. Rani eventually identified Naina’s car at the site of Sunny’s disappearance, making Naina a prime suspect in the case.
