Description: Amy Mitchell, a 32-year-old married woman living in the suburbs of Chicago, is overwhelmed by her daily responsibilities. As a sales representative for a coffee company, she juggles preparing healthy lunches for her children, Jane and Dylan, helping with their homework, attending their extracurricular activities, and participating in the PTA, which is dominated by the controlling Gwendolyn James and her friends, Stacy and Vicky.
Her life takes a turn when she discovers her husband, Mike, cheating on her with a camgirl. Fed up, she throws him out and tries to maintain her hectic routine. However, after a particularly stressful day, Amy snaps and quits the PTA, fed up with Gwendolyn’s unreasonable demands. At a bar, she befriends Carla, a carefree single mom, and Kiki, a stay-at-home mother of four who looks up to Amy for standing up to the PTA.
The trio bonds over a wild night out, inspiring Amy to adopt a more relaxed approach to parenting. She takes her kids for rides in Mike’s sports car, treats them to fast food, encourages Dylan to be more independent, and organizes a spa day for the overburdened Jane. Meanwhile, Amy also begins to explore dating, something she’s inexperienced in due to her early marriage. She connects with Jessie, a widower at her children’s school, and they share a kiss.
However, tensions rise when Amy brings store-bought donut holes to a PTA bake sale, angering Gwendolyn, who retaliates by benching Jane from the soccer team. Determined to fight back, Amy decides to run for PTA president against Gwendolyn.
