Description: Bachchhan Paandey is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie features Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arshad Warsi in leading roles. It is a remake of the 2014 Tamil film *Jigarthanda*, which was inspired by the 2006 South Korean movie *A Dirty Carnival*. The story follows Myra Devekar (Kriti Sanon), an aspiring director tasked by a producer to create a gripping and violent gangster film. To craft a realistic script, she decides to study the life of a real-life gangster. Her research leads her to Bachchhan Paandey (Akshay Kumar), a ruthless one-eyed criminal from Baagwa, surrounded by eccentric yet dangerous henchmen.
Myra travels to Baagwa and shares her film idea with her friend Vishu (Arshad Warsi). Initially, Vishu is furious and urges her to abandon the plan, but he eventually agrees to help her. Together, they target Paandey’s henchmen to get closer to him. Through one of the goons, they learn about Paandey’s former girlfriend, Sophie (Jacqueline Fernandez), who was killed by him. They plant a microphone on the goon to eavesdrop on Paandey, but the goon betrays Paandey and is later caught and killed by him.
Vishu and Myra are discovered by Paandey’s gang, and Paandey decides to kill them. However, upon learning that Myra is directing a gangster film, he spares their lives on the condition that he plays the protagonist. Despite Myra’s initial refusal, Paandey kidnaps her producer, forcing her to listen to his backstory and develop the script accordingly.
