Bijay, nicknamed Bacchu (played by Jeet), is a huge fan of Amitabh Bachchan and even adopts the name Vijay from the film *Coolie* along with the legendary actor’s surname. Bijay, the son of a washerman named Ramesh (Supriyo Datta), dreams of becoming rich instead of following in his father’s footsteps. His astrologer friend Shankar (Kanchan Mullick) predicts a change in his fortune. While delivering clothes for his father, Bijay meets and falls in love with Priya (Aindrita Ray), the younger daughter of a retired colonel (Kharaj Mukherjee).
Discovering that Priya’s father has arranged a meeting for her with a suitor, Dr. Partho Sarathi Chatterjee (Saheb Chatterjee), Bijay and Shankar impersonate doctors to win her over. After a series of humorous events, Priya learns the truth but finds Bijay’s actions endearing and reciprocates his feelings. Later, Bijay confronts goons led by an underworld kingpin named Master (Mukul Dev) and gets arrested. After his release, he finds Master’s lost phone, which contains a video that could incriminate the police commissioner (Ashish Vidyarthi).
Bijay begins extorting money from Master in exchange for the phone, leading to a series of dangerous encounters. The plot thickens with the arrival of Trisha (Payel Sarkar), who seeks revenge on Master for her own reasons. The story unravels the secrets behind the video, Trisha’s motives, and Bijay’s decisions upon learning the truth.
The film combines romance, comedy, and suspense as Bijay navigates love, danger, and unexpected twists.
