Description: “Baby” is a 2015 Hindi action thriller film that follows the final mission of a temporary task force led by Feroz Ali Khan. This team was created in response to the 2008 Mumbai attacks, with the goal of identifying and neutralizing terrorists planning strikes in India. The story begins with Ajay Singh Rajput, a key team member, rescuing an Indian security agent in Turkey. During this mission, Ajay captures Jamal, a traitor who once worked under him. Jamal threatens to kill Ajay’s family unless he reveals details about an impending terrorist attack.
Ajay learns of a plot to bomb a Delhi mall, which he and his partner Jai successfully prevent. However, they discover that this is just the first in a series of planned attacks. The mastermind behind these attacks is Maulana, a Pakistan-based terrorist orchestrating chaos near the India-Pakistan border. Maulana engineers a daring prison escape for Bilal Khan, another terrorist, escalating the threat.
Ajay and his team interrogate Taufiq, an ISI agent posing as a local Muslim leader, and uncover crucial information. However, a subsequent operation goes awry when almost the entire squad, along with their target, Javed, is killed in an explosion. Despite this setback, they retrieve vital data from Javed’s laptop, leading Ajay and Shabana Khan to Nepal undercover as a married couple. Their mission is to capture Wasim Sheikh, a logistics planner for the terrorists. Though their plan falters when Wasim discovers Shabana’s true identity, she manages to subdue him, enabling Ajay to take him into custody.
Based on Wasim’s information, Feroz deploys Ajay, Jai, and Shukla to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Dera region to meet a deep-cover asset, Ashfaq, and thwart Bilal’s plans for funding and executing further attacks. The film is a gripping tale of sacrifice, bravery, and relentless pursuit of justice in the face of terrorism.
