Description: Baazi (Challenge) is a 2021 Indian Bengali action thriller film directed by Anshuman Pratyush and produced by Jeet, Gopal Madnani, and Amit Jumrani under the banner of Jeetz Filmworks Pvt. Ltd. Starring Jeet and Mimi Chakraborty, the film is an official remake of the 2016 Telugu movie *Nannaku Prematho*. Shot in London, the production wrapped up in October 2020.
The story follows a man (Jeet) who seeks revenge for his father (Abhishek Chatterjee), aiming to restore his father’s honor. The father, suffering from a terminal illness, urges his son to avenge him after being deceived by a conman who stole his wealth. The son travels to London to confront the now-wealthy and powerful antagonist, strategically befriending his daughter to get closer to him.
Initially scheduled for release on May 14, 2021, the film was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It finally premiered on October 10, 2021, during the Puja holidays.
The project was announced in February 2020 as a remake of *Nannaku Prematho*, with Jeet and Mimi Chakraborty as the lead pair. Filming began in February 2020 but was halted in March due to the pandemic. The production team returned to India and resumed shooting in October 2020 after the lockdown restrictions were lifted.
