Description: Rizwan Ahmed, a small-time stock trader from Allahabad, moves to Mumbai with the ambition of working under his idol, the wealthy and influential Gujarati diamond merchant Shakun Kothari. Determined to succeed, Rizwan lands a job at a prominent trading firm by using clever tactics. With the support of his colleague and girlfriend, Priya Rai, he quickly rises within the company. During an event, Rizwan impresses Shakun Kothari with his stock market insight, leading Kothari to hire him as his broker. However, Kothari warns Rizwan that he must never lose his money.
When Rizwan’s first trade with Kothari’s funds fails, he resorts to illegal insider information from Priya to recover the losses. This marks the beginning of Rizwan’s growing involvement with Kothari and his lavish lifestyle, including visits to Kothari’s grand home and yacht. Kothari later introduces Rizwan to a lucrative opportunity involving a government telecom project, where Kothari has allegedly bribed a minister to favor a company called Skycom.
Rizwan, enticed by the potential earnings, becomes Skycom’s owner and convinces his brother-in-law to invest heavily in the company. However, Skycom’s bid is unexpectedly rejected, and Rizwan faces financial ruin when Kothari dumps his shares just before the announcement. Rizwan realizes he was set up by Kothari, who orchestrated the entire scheme for personal gain. To make matters worse, Priya’s involvement is revealed to be part of Kothari’s manipulation.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) arrests Rizwan for insider trading, though their true target remains Kothari. The story unfolds as a gripping tale of ambition, betrayal, and the harsh realities of the financial world.
