Description: The film “Attraction,” released in 2017, centers on Colonel Valentin Lebedev, who oversees a military operation, his daughter Yulia, who becomes romantically involved with an alien named Hekon, and her ex-boyfriend Artyom, who serves as the primary antagonist.
Hekon, a representative of a highly advanced humanoid race, visits Earth undercover for research purposes. During his journey through the Solar System, his spacecraft is damaged by a meteor shower. Mistaking the vessel for a NATO military craft, the Russian Air Force attacks it with missiles, causing it to crash into several buildings in Moscow and resulting in numerous casualties. On the same day, Yulia and Artyom attend a meteor-watching event, where Yulia’s friend Svetlana tragically loses her life.
The Russian government opts to avoid contact with the alien ship, leaving it to repair itself. The crash site is evacuated and sealed off, and Moscow is placed under a curfew. Driven by curiosity, Yulia, Artyom, and their friends Khariton, Ruslan, and Piton infiltrate the crash site. They encounter the alien, assault him, and cause him to fall from a building, but manage to retrieve his armor before being discovered by military patrols. Later, Yulia returns to rescue the alien, hiding him with a classmate nicknamed “Google” to aid his recovery. During this time, she discovers a wristband on her arm that grants her the ability to manipulate water.
The alien, Hekon, reveals that he is searching for a device called “Shilk,” which enables safe space travel without damaging his body. The Shilk, much like the spaceship, has the ability to attract water. While Hekon ventures into the city to locate the device, the police mistake him for a drug addict and take him into custody for interrogation.
