However, the story falters with inconsistencies. Anubrata, despite his lower-middle-class lifestyle, appears indifferent to the financial burden of his wife’s expensive treatment, even refusing financial help for her care. This contrasts starkly with the premium medical facilities Neeta receives.
The second half takes a surprising and jarring turn, as a seemingly innocent friendship between elderly characters evolves into an unexpected romantic affair, disrupting the film’s earlier coherence.
Overall, *Anubrata Bhalo Achho* is a mixed effort, elevated by its acting but weighed down by narrative flaws.
