**Storyline:**
In 1979, a film titled *Antrum*, produced in English but seemingly of Bulgarian origin, was submitted to various film festivals. Despite rejections, the festival directors soon died under mysterious circumstances. Years later, in 1988, the film unexpectedly screened in a Budapest theater. During the showing, a fire broke out, initially thought to be caused by a faulty projector. However, investigators later concluded that the audience had set the fire themselves. The film disappeared again until it appeared in a California theater in 1993. Before the screening, a concession stand worker laced popcorn with LSD. The combination of the drug and the film triggered a riot, resulting in the death of a pregnant woman. Following this incident, all copies of the film vanished, cementing its reputation as cursed.
In 2018, a copy of *Antrum* resurfaced, leading a documentary crew to investigate its history. Although its origins remain unclear, experts analyzing the 35mm reel discovered the use of disorienting sounds and subliminal imagery. The documentary also revealed that unrelated black-and-white clips, resembling a snuff film, had been inserted into the original by an unknown entity. The documentary paused to present *Antrum* in its entirety for the first time in 25 years.
The story of *Antrum* revolves around siblings Oralee and Nathan, whose dog, Maxine, was recently euthanized. When Nathan asks if Maxine went to Heaven, their mother explains that Maxine went to Hell because she was a bad dog. Disturbed by this, Nathan begins having nightmares and visions of demons. To comfort him, Oralee claims to have obtained a grimoire from an imaginary classmate named Ike, who is knowledgeable in the occult.
