Description: Champak Bansal, a widower and sweet-shop owner in Udaipur, Rajasthan, frequently clashes with his half-brother Gopi, who also runs a competing sweet-shop. Despite their rivalry, they share a deep bond of affection. Champak’s daughter, Tarika, has always aspired to study abroad. Although she struggles academically, Champak wholeheartedly supports her dream. Through hard work, Tarika eventually achieves a high rank in her final school exams, qualifying her for a scholarship at London’s Truford University, which has a partnership with her school.
During the school’s Annual Day, Champak discovers that the chief guest, Judge Chheda, had previously accepted a bribe from Gopi in exchange for awarding him the rights to the Ghasiteram name. Outraged, Champak exposes the judge’s hypocrisy during the event, unaware that he is the principal’s husband. The next day, Champak visits the principal to apologize, but she reacts by tearing up Tarika’s scholarship letter. Determined to fulfill his daughter’s dream, Champak vows to send her to London at any cost.
With the help of a London-based contact named Bablu, Champak, Tarika, and Gopi travel to London to secure accommodation for Tarika before her college begins. However, Champak and Gopi are detained by airport police due to a misunderstanding involving the word “drugs.” They are deported and their passports are blacklisted. Left alone in London, Tarika moves into a rented home and begins embracing the city’s free-spirited lifestyle while searching for ways to fund her education. Meanwhile, Champak and Gopi are introduced to a fixer in Dubai named Tony, who provides them with Pakistani aliases and forged passports.
Using the names Abdul Razzaq and Saqlain Mushtaq, Champak and Gopi return to London, where they briefly encounter Naina, a police officer. They eventually find lodging in a house owned by Mrs. Kohli, who happens to be Naina’s estranged mother. The story follows their journey as they navigate challenges to ensure Tarika’s dreams come true.
