The film revolves around three men in Chennai whose lives are intertwined by mysterious and sinister events.
Dr. Indran, one of the nation’s most respected clinical psychiatrists, is nearly killed by a violent patient. Although he survives, his family is tragically murdered, and he loses his voice and professional license. After recovering from surgery, Indran adopts a new approach to his practice, despite being under scrutiny by authorities.
Selvam, a blind and honest clerk at a public library, is cared for by his uncle after his parents’ death. His father, a renowned occultist, left him a mansion that Selvam struggles to maintain. Facing kidney failure and in need of money for surgery, Selvam agrees to perform a cleansing ritual at a haunted building. While he successfully captures one spirit, another remains trapped in the structure.
Vinod, a cricket coach, is haunted by guilt over his best friend Pradeep’s deteriorating mental health. Pradeep’s condition worsens after Vinod gifts him a book on the occult. Vinod begins receiving threatening calls on his newly installed landline rotary phone. His girlfriend, Manasi, advises him to seek psychiatric help, convinced that his fears are imagined.
As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that these three men’s timelines occur at different points. Selvam’s confidant, Pooja, is the sister of Pradeep, who was once treated by Dr. Indran. By the time Vinod installs the landline, Pradeep has committed suicide by jumping off a balcony, tragically landing on Indran and killing him. Like Pradeep, many of Indran’s patients, whom he had been treating illegally, have also taken their own lives.
