Description: The story of “And Your Mom Too” (Y Tu Mamá También), released in 2001, begins with two teenage best friends—Julio, from a working-class background, and Tenoch, from an upper-class family—each spending intimate moments with their girlfriends before the girls leave for a trip to Italy. Seizing the opportunity to live carefree lives without their girlfriends, the boys embrace a bachelor lifestyle.

At a wedding, they meet Luisa, the wife of Tenoch’s cousin, Jano. In an attempt to impress her, they fabricate a story about a secluded beach called Boca del Cielo (“Heaven’s Mouth”). Despite their invitation, Luisa initially declines. However, after a doctor’s visit and a distressing phone call from Jano, who confesses to infidelity, Luisa decides to join the boys on their journey.

With no clear destination in mind, the trio sets off, driving through rural Mexico. Along the way, they share stories about their relationships and sexual experiences. The boys boast about their exploits, while Luisa opens up about Jano and reflects on her first love, who tragically died in a motorcycle accident.

During one of their stops, Luisa leaves an emotional message for Jano, revealing she has left him. Later, Tenoch enters her motel room and discovers her in tears. Their interaction leads to an intimate encounter, which Julio observes from a distance, leaving him upset. The tension escalates when Julio admits to having been with Tenoch’s girlfriend. The next day, Luisa senses the strain between the boys and, in an effort to balance their dynamic, initiates an encounter with Julio. Angered, Tenoch retaliates by confessing he has also been with Julio’s girlfriend. The two begin to fight but are stopped when Luisa threatens to abandon them.

Continuing their journey, they eventually stumble upon a remote beach that coincidentally matches the name of the fictional Boca del Cielo. There, they relax by the ocean and bond with a local family, finding a momentary escape from their tangled emotions and conflicts.
