**Storyline:**
Two men, waiting for a flight to Chennai at Biju Patnaik Airport in Bhubaneswar, strike up a conversation. One is a commercial director named Anbarasu, who goes by A. Aras, while the other is a scarred and disfigured socialist named Nallasivam (Nalla). When their flight is canceled due to heavy rain, Aras mistakenly suspects Nalla of being a terrorist and reports him to the authorities. After realizing his error, the two are forced to share a room overnight as the city floods. Both urgently need to return to Chennai—Aras for his wedding and Nalla to deliver a ₹3,200,000 cheque to union workers, following a recent court victory.
The next day, with no flights available, they take a bus to board the Coromandel Express train. Along the way, Aras loses his bag, leaving him with only a credit card that no one accepts. Despite his attempts to avoid Nalla, Aras repeatedly finds himself in trouble, and Nalla cleverly helps him out each time. While waiting for the train at Ichchapuram railway station, Nalla begins to share his life story with Aras.
Years earlier, Nalla was a healthy and active participant in street theatre performances, protesting against multinational corporations and their impact on the labor force. His satirical acts often mocked factory owner Kandasamy Padayatchi, who refused to raise workers’ wages. Unexpectedly, Nalla fell in love with Padayatchi’s daughter, Balasaraswathi (Bala), and the two decided to elope to Kerala to avoid conflict with her father. Tragically, while on his way to meet Bala, Nalla’s bus met with an accident on a hillside, leaving him permanently scarred, disfigured, and partially paralyzed.
